What Are the Search Engines Looking For?
Most of all the search engines are looking for normal content that was written by a human for a human. Ideally each article would:
- Be unique text
- Reference existing content on the site
- Link to external sites with relevant content and good page ranking
- Be linked to from the homepage and site pages
- Be released at least twice a month
- Have a length of 200 to 300 words
- Be included in the XML sitemap
- Have a strong title that utilizes the target keyphrases
